History: The history keeps coming on this one... This car was found in a garage in the early 1980s by Bob Cline (of Desert Dog Auto Parts and an OCA advisor). It was eventually sold to the Volo Auto Museum, which had it for sale in June 2003 (see below) and was purchased by Robert Herrera of Las Vegas, NV. As of January 2006, Robert installed a new interior, aluminized exhaust, and a new clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. Troy Thornton purchased the car from Robert via Ebay in spring 2006. The car was then sold again via Ebay in August 2006 to user "DB2Sub1" and showed up on www.SportscarGallery.com in December 2006 with new paint, engine detailing and interior work. Dave Sandvold bought it in early 2007.
Added to registry: November 2003

Volo Auto Museum had this one for sale in June 2003. I'm not sure where they came up with the 751 total V Codes figure (previous owner?), but if that is accurate, then there were 608 combined V code fastback hardtops and post coupes (assuming that there were some post coupes built).
